A big ‘thank you’ to
for tweaking the tail of my curiosity with this timely Note:In 2016, I attended The DO Lectures … it was an ‘ideas festival’ (it still is) and the words ‘Stay Curious’ are painted on a wall at the farm hosting it.
Every now and again, I am reminded that the thing that adds spark to my life, the thing that has inspired me to curate articles and ideas into our weekly newsletter for 6 and a half years now, the reason for probing, nudging, learning, and growing is Curiosity.
We even call our newsletter ‘Field Notes for Curious Minds’ to keep reminding ourselves to ‘stay curious’.
Ben at
is spot on with his Note today. There are so many appealing characteristics of the community but the overriding one for me isCuriosity
I wrote a little imagining, a call to curiosity … to see it, to feel it, to encourage it, always:
Hand raised, inquisitiveness holding it high even as it tires. Wanting to say something aloud, but knowing that is not what the teacher allows. When do grown-ups stop being curious. I want to ask. Pick me, Miss. How, when, what, why? I need to know more. Does this make me a curiosity, this need to know more? My mind is open, a blank canvas upon which to paint answers, on which to fashion questions. Who is the artist whose brushstroke will fill the gaps, who will leave outlines for others to fill? Allow me to be curious. Watch me grow.

Agree. I'm finding the community wonderfully supportive and has made me more curious about various topics
Love this. Wow it’s lively over here. Keep writing you two ❤️
