Brimful of loveliness as always! Congratulations on reaching your tenth edition, forwards to the 100th and before I forget... Just write right? Sending a Whinne the Pooh type hug!
Oh thank you for the mention! I'm most touched, but especially excited to hear you may go to Cahors. I loved, loved, loved that town. The library has very limited hours, though -- but there's much more to do. How long will you be in the Lot?
Such a pleasure, Betty … the next trip is all about the wedding but we’ll be back to visit the guys (and to cycle in the hills) … we’ll be sure to add Cahors to our ‘must see’ list.
I think this is going to be a teeny tiny wedding - JoJo is making the cake and we are witnesses … I’m not sure there will be many folk there … a few neighbours for a wee buffet, very simple. The guys have been together 28 years!
Thanks for including the article on Art Deco design and the Chrysler Airflow. I continued on to four different article links in dezeen. Learned a lot! I appreciate the variety you present to us, Barrie.
Anything about design/architecture/interiors is dangerous for me … I will wander down many a rabbit hole! Delighted you’re enjoying the exploration, Sharron.
Southern France? Can I visit? I see your address and love the ambience of your writing. I encourage anyone to try the air of the country in France. Not only Paris. My mind is accompanied always with my heart and stays tuned for the frequencies of the french--oui la vie!
We love it here in our tiny corner of very rural France; life moves at a very tranquille pace here … if you’re passing, we’ll lay the lunch table and practice our French! Thank you for the kind words.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you for adding me to a great list, Barrie!
Always a great pleasure, Priya
What a beautiful collection. Thank you for gathering it all together in one place. Olivia Twists work is stunning.
Olivia Twist was a favourite from ‘Field Notes’. I knew I wanted the splash of colour.
Those black and white landscapes 😍😍😍
I was lucky enough to meet Don McCullin. What a man. Love the way black and white elevates the scenes.
How wonderful! Black and white can be so evocative ✨
I often forget to change the look of some of my shots to see how B&W might improve them. This is a good nudge to look at a few.
Marvelous and Generous, as always. Love you guys, as I said in a Note yesterday
Feeling the glow from your lovely words and support, Mary. Thank you so much for encouraging the encouragers.

Oh yes those weddings, they take days now, if not a week. Enjoy at any rate!

I like that George Saunders quotation a lot.
I hope to see it in a certain Jotter one of these days!
You guys 🥹 thank you so much for the mention! Honestly this has made my day - thank you.
Also, yes to that space. For writing, creating or just sat watching nature go by its daily life.
Delighted to add joy to your day.
