Ok, so I’ve no idea how to send you an email (hence the unsubscribe resubscribe that just happened 🙈) but count me in Barrie. If I need to do anything more let me know 🙏🏽
Counting you in ... back in UK for a couple of weeks and then I'll get in touch to wrestle diaries into place for January. Looking forward to a natter and some wild enthusiasm!
Thank you so much. When I first captured the values in the Manifesto, I imagined that might be 'it'. Then we asked a few folk to write about the values and that became a thing. The Sessions seemed like a logical way of living the principle of 'Be the Pebble in the Pond'. All of the folk I have spoken to in the past three years came from the community we built up in our coffee shop/deli days. With the debate about folk 'selling hard' into Substack, I have been cautious about pushing the idea here. In the end, I thought, I'm not selling, it's not about 'how to do Substack' and lots of other folk have found the boost to be helpful. It pays not to overthink, I guess! B
I think you are the best pebbles in the pond. The world needs more of these ripples, after all. And you are wise about not overthinking it, something I myself keep trying to follow. It can be tricky, finding a balance here. I certainly would love to have more paid subscribers, but I also try and market as subtly as possible, letting my work speak for itself.
I believe your ideas would truly benefit many readers and writers here. The manifesto is something which just makes a delicious sense.
I think you’re an Encourager cut from our cloth. I’m calling this kind, generous and a celebration of others. Right to the heart of the matter. We really appreciate your words, thank you Alexander. We should let you know when we’re over in the Alpes and say hi.
I love your Encouragement Manifesto and it is such a generous offer. Encouragement is so vital, especially in these times, when we all need cheerleaders!
Even encouragers need encouragement ... reading this is a lovely boost for this encourager. Buzz a note through if you want to book in ... we're back in the UK for a couple of weeks but I'll be getting in touch with folk from the beginning of December to sort out dates in January. Thanks for the kind words, Vanessa
Travelling sounds fabulous. It won't be til January ... with timings, one of us would need to be a lark and one an owl, I suspect, but it must be possible. Happy Travels!
So true ... and the offering is only good if there are folk open to receiving ... fortunately, over the past 2 or 3 years over 150 folk have been open to it. Hoping to encourage more!
Glad that I discovered you 🥺🫶🏾 thank you for caring and sharing
That's such a lovely encouraging thing to say. Thank YOU
What an encouraging post, I would love to join - I'll send you an email :)
I shall look out for that. Lovely to hear.

I'm loving this so much, what a lovely idea! ❤️ 🙌🏼
Thank you for encouraging the encourager, Mariana ... much appreciated!
This is lovely. Really lovely, thank you.

Encouragement at its best, thank you. I'm keen to do a session, will email you!
Ah, thank you, Debs. I'll pop a reply back shortly.

Even the encouragers need a little boost and this is perfect. Thank you
Happy Substack anniversary!
Aw, thank you so much, Patricia. Hoping you are feeling a little more rested.
A little better today. I read something yesterday that has me testing out a possible factor to my recent fatigue.
Fingers crossed you get to the bottom of it.
What a wonderful offer - free encouragement is something I suspect most of the world could do with and I know I’d certainly love some!

I’m interested but travelling all of December - and not sure how it’ll work with AU time zones... but I’ll email.

Thanks - we’re off to Germany for a feasty, fairytale Christmas.
That WILL be magical ... the scent of glühwein and gingerbread!
Free encouragement - something we can all give and take!

Wonderful work 👌🏽
That's so very kind. Amazing how just the smallest word of encouragement can be all a person needs to move forward. Thanks for the encouragement
Well this is all very... encouraging, Barrie! I think we could all benefit from a little free encouragement once in a while.
Do shout if you'd like a chat in the new year, Simon. It would be good to chat sometime anyway.
Will do!
Thank you for the encouragement, Marian!
