Imagine those 60-odd people gathered in a room listening to your words ... my goodness it puts the numbers in perspective. I have always gently celebrated needing to 'book a slightly bigger venue' each time folk join in! Onwards, always onwards

Great look back and thanks so much for offering much-needed encouragement to so many people! One of the biggest takeaways that I got from my grad program in psychology is that most people just want to be heard, seen, validated, encouraged. It's astounding how often we DON'T get that in daily life.

Thank you so much for saying, Kathryn ... most often, the people I talk to know what brings them joy but they struggle to give themselves 'permission' to light the spark inside themselves. Very often, we find ways to encourage people to spend more time on their side project, all the better to allow themselves to make it their actual 'thing' down the line. The calls cut both ways ... having finished with the traditional 'world of work', encouragement (gentle 'mentoring') adds some purpose and a chance to give something back. I'm super lucky to have the opportunity to 'retire' earlier than many folk so filling time productively is an obligation, I feel. Thanks so much for reading.

I think it's wonderful that you're giving back in that way and I can tell that it really gives you a lot of fulfillment to be able to do so. When we are doing the work we are meant to do in this world, whether or not it's paid work, life is much more magical.
