H E L P
We’ve been hovering around this for ages, not sure whether to ask. Way back when we created our Encouragement Manifesto, we asked some folk to write about the values. We have their gorgeous pieces on our website.
We set up our space here on Substack 15 months ago. Since then we have been wondering if writers here might want to contribute to a collection of inspiring words about the values in the Manifesto.
We made a space - ‘The Gift of Words’.
I guess we should maybe start to fill it.
Would anyone be up for writing some words to fill a well of encouragement for others to draw on?
The Ask (because brief sounds like actual work):
Easy peasy. No time limit. A rolling collection, growing over time as people find us. No stipulations. Choose a value from the manifesto and write about it. Prose or poetry, fun or serious, fiction or essay. Any length, but it will become a Substack post and I usually - as a reader - go for 10 mins an article or less. But happy with absolutely anything about how a value speaks to you, the writer
Has anyone done this before?
So glad you asked. You bet. We love to highlight voices less heard. Here are some of the words folk have gifted us already.
Encouragement is our Superpower … we think it is yours too.
Feasts + Fables
Hey, that sounds like a great idea!
Helloooo! I've finally settled on a value to write about and have emailed you my thoughts!
