Receiving as a balance to giving. As obvious as the nose on my face but heck if I ever see it! An article I thought my daughter should read but, alas, it’s really me that needs it. 🙏
#6 Be consistent. My gosh what I could write! I already preached a bit in my latest “5 things I learned about forming a writing habit” post, but I’d be happy to pare it down to just that motto for the sake of this collection. I hope that would be welcome?
What a very kind offer ... I wonder, Eric, if you would consider this ... we have two folk lined up to write about 'Be Consistent' ... my idea was to post them separately in the archive but include them in a round up mail on the theme (adding some words from me on the subject). It would be fabulous to hook in a link your piece at the same time, if you'd be happy with that?
Eric, it would be very generous if you felt able to offer new words too ... I'll leave that to you, and look forward to celebrating this existing post of yours. Many thanks for such a positive response. Barrie
I could have sworn I left a comment here yesterday? Anyway, as I said, somewhere, not sure where…? I will send you something with pleasure… as soon as feasibly possible!
Maybe on the Note I sent out. But delighted you will contribute, Susie ... literally, no rush. This week, next month, later in the year. A gently unfolding collection will be perfect for us. And who knows, some writers might choose more than one value over time (I'll be challenging myself to write something for each one).
Excited to dive into your words, Matt ... I saw them pop into the mailbox. Just getting our weekly newsletter finished then I have an afternoon for reading. Thanks so much.
Maybe you'll have some words. That would be lovely, Roselle.
And, yep, not sure how that happened - Judy has included us in her directory so she knows we're in France. There must be something confusing on our website. I signed off a thank you note 'from our farm en France' so maybe she'll tweak it.
This sounds like a wonderful opportunity to connect with your 10 values. I love the idea of poetry filling the space. I hope you get lots of takers. Take care, Julian
We'd love to welcome some words from you, Ju? Maybe some favourite poetry by others, framed in some of your words? No pressure. Lovely to hear from you. Barrie
Helloooo! I've finally settled on a value to write about and have emailed you my thoughts!
Thrilled, thank you. I'll have a read today.
Yes! I'll be in touch.
That's a very exciting start to our Sunday, thank you ... very encouraging!

So happy it found you when it did ... and maybe your daughter will peek in too. Happy Sunday

That would be great. Just to confirm: no need to send something new? Or would you prefer I still put something together?

I will try to think of a text for you because I really like your manifesto.
Thank you so much ... we really look forward to reading your words, Francine.
This is amazing. Will definitely cook up something for you soon!
That's fabulous, Andrei. No rush, any time the words flow.

No rush is even better !
Who needs the pressure ... pressure is for tyres!
I’m a huge fan of your manifesto and would love to contribute.
That would be so wonderful ... we are big fans of your words, Priya. Thank you.
I have some ideas Barrie. I will give it some thought and send something your way.

I have so many words!
No telling how long it will take me to form them into sentences, but they are coming. 💜
Thank you for the invitation.
How fabulous ... no pressure on time. Just whenever they appear is perfect. Thank you
I would love to contribute! Will send you an email this weekend. 💗
Amazing, thank you ... no rush. We hope it turns into a gently unfurling collection of words, gathered as they appear. No pressure on timing.
Hi Barrie & Jojo
Nice idea. Thanks for offering this.
As an aside, v glad to see you featured in le Bulletin today. (BUT she said you're renovating a farm in Wales, not France??)
Maybe you'll have some words. That would be lovely, Roselle.

Bon weekend

Hey, that sounds like a great idea!
Maybe you'll write some words, Siya?
I think I may! Especially if it's on a rolling basis (which is what I think the article says) as it removes that pressure of a strict deadline :)
No deadlines. Pressure is for tyres!
I love that! I shall be in touch :) Thank you for doing this!
