Thank for the reminder to visit art galleries more often, especially my fabulous, local Abbott Hall Art Gallery!

I've recently become a Green Sketch Ambassador and would recommend fellow ambassador https://substack.com/@rachelgoddard. Our practice is all about enjoying the process of engaging with nature, rather than the resulting piece of art :-)

Love the sound of ‘green sketch ambassador’ … Rachel is an excellent recommendation - we’ve peeked at her work over the past year - a great reminder to peek more. And yes to galleries; I’ve learned to relax over the years, worrying less about knowing what I am looking at and just enjoying what I like.

We loved it … maybe we’re getting better at not overplanning our visits, leaving space for things to just unfold.

Aw, thank you so much. It felt like it made sense to try a version of ‘Field Notes’ over here. A great way to celebrate others.

Barrie, one of my favorites is Charlene Lutz. I recently acquired one of her original pieces and she is teaching watercolor classes for her paid subscribers. I love the folks who share great art with us but also love highlighting the contributions of those not as well known.

Thanks so much, Matt … you’re doing a brilliant job of celebrating so many folk. I’ll be sure to check out Charlene’s work.

Helpful and inspiring, Barrie. Thank you. You seem to have many different incarnations going, and I can't sort them out. How about a post that lines up your different sections so we get the big picture? I am afraid I am missing something...

Glad you are enjoying the new weekly offering for ‘Encourage Meant’ … it makes up for the fact I am so random with my fiction at ‘Just Write, Right’. The ‘Feasts and Fables’ umbrella which the publications sit in is just our post-deli/cafe identity. That’s kind of it … but a good prompt to make sure it’s not confusing (maybe the fact that we have a non-Substack newsletter too crowds the issue). I’ll scratch something explanatory together. Thanks so much for wanting to know, Sharron!

Substack is a home for creatives of all kinds, and is filled with so many wonderful artists that I love. I have been enjoying the work of Brian Biggs here on Substack - his letter of Christmas cards was particularly awesome, but honestly, I love all his work. I have been exploring and collecting the beautiful creativity I find in Notes and sharing them in occasional celebrating creativity posts 💛✨ I look forward to more weekly celebrations
